Post by Alex » Mon Dec 17, 2007 9:27 pm

hi all,

im due for some serious fishing and abit of offroading. Probably heading down to whitehills on saturday arvo, and maybe camp(depending on the weather) and return to perth for about lunchtime on sunday.

I know its all abit sketchy now, but if your keen, pipe up and i'll give out some more details.

cheers everyone

I'd be there!

But another time... Poor Ruby Scoo copped a beating on the way home. I'm about to do the write up now.

Could be possible (not 100% though) pending details.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

FINAL DETAILS

when - saturday 22nd/sunday 23rd

meet - Shell Servo on the corner of Kwinana Fwy and Thomas Rd

time - 1pm SHARP for a 1.30pm departure

what to bring - usual 4x4 gear/tools/snatch strap etc, fishing gear, food, drinks, all the usual stuff for a night over.

brochure - check the link for the brochure/map of the area
http://www.mandurah.wa.gov.au/minutes/f ... ehills.pdf

i know it says we arent allowed to camp, but i plan on making it a all night fishing trip, so technically we arent camping.

i havent physically been to Whitehills before, but ive been to Tims thicket a while ago, and we did struggle abit, but this was due to the car being unlifted and having a dieing clutch.

also we must be back in perth by lunchtime(if not earlier) on sunday

any other suggestions?

cheers
