I never got a chance to test Subarino's faith, but you're set up is almost mine and you have the bonus of DR. Plus there's plenty of helpers to snatch you out if required :)

For me, i just paid the bill for fixing the front engine mounts but have noticed the engine still rocks when i punch the pedal, even lightly.. so i pointed this out to REPCO before i paid the bill and they're gonna have another look, on their own wallet this time thank goodness. if i get that done, plus my BFH efforts for the 14"s.. i will be VERY tempted to come along.

for lancelin all u'll need is maybe some water, a snatch strap if possible and a refreshments for yourself. u can get air for tyres at the servo and not much damage is usually caused in this kind of environment. there are some stories tho hehe

btw sounds like fun, i reckon ill come.

if you use firefox it has a built in spell checker... so not only can you write a mess for school/uni assignments and have M$ Word fix it up... now you can forget how to spell completely on the net too... (as most seem to do...)

Refering to the radios.... 2-way refers to any radio with 2 way comunication (back and forth) to be exact what u need it a UHF CB (Citezen band). Don't be fooled into picking up am AM unit... these are MUCH cheaper but they are not what anyone uses anymore. UHF is the go. You can get in car ones but u will need a special antenna to suit.... these will cost a bit. Or you can do what most do.... get a little hand held UHF CB. These can be purchased for as low as $30 or less from places like straithfeild... etc etc.

I work for a CB radio/stereo/Audio Visial joint so i can help ya out if u want to get serious.

The air compressor.... DUDE... how often do u think your going to be using it to warrrent getting a $300 one... we have a few at work for about $120 and i have had one mounted in my engine bay for years.... works great and it is water proof.

I would definately get yourself a snatch strap... shackles and a shovel... although if your going in a group for the first time the most important things are.... spare wheel... shovel... and a CB radio. Oh and of course food and plenty to drink... or u could die.

As a note... i don't think i will be coming on this particular trip... i think i have seen all there is to see of Lancelin and Wedge.

I do know of other places... but some of the places your mates will get lost if they drive off like they did last time and im not taking responsibility for them. Very easy to get lost without GPS and stuff.
