how much for an odd-job conversion ? (all parts supplied)

The question popped into my head in relation to

but i guess it stands anyway.

You WA / Perth blokes have all the know-how, all the tools, clearly-at-least-occasionally have the time, and most importantly of all have the passion for the cars...

How much do you think it'd be worth (keeping in mind the fee would have to be split up between whoever ended up doing the work, and i've noticed some builds have ended up involving 5 or 6 crew) to do a full conversion (engine, gearbox, whatever else was required to make it fit / work) if the parts were supplied and it was just all-the-stuff-i-listed-above that was missing?

eg (90brumby - don't stress, you're first in mate) if i bought D3V1Ls lib and wanted the lot (or whatever fits) thrown into an MY...

because hey 90brumby might have this one, but maybe another will come up... and maybe there's other blokes out there like me who can't rattle-gun their way out of a wet paper bag, but have the money / enthusiasm / interest.

oh and no timeframe specified. though obviously i wouldn't want it to drag on forever.. but i certainly wouldn't be hounding anybody if they said they'd do it in spare time.

thanks for any thoughts.

Im not interested in participating in turbo conversions... sorry.

Ej18 or ej22 would be a different story.

subarino - i guess i was asking in a general sense. Personally i'm not interested in a turbo conversion anyway. I dream about having Lib engine power or any D/R gear box though. And as stated, have zero knowledge / experience, but can compensate with enthusiasm and beer/money :)

Hi guys.

If you plan on doing an EJ22 conversion, I would love to help/watch. I wanna do one on my Brumby and have little idea what I'm up against.

I also like fishing & am partial to a beer.

Cheers.
