Brought a new car. No its not a subi :(

Post by Lapsed » Mon Jun 18, 2007 12:20 am

Since buying a car seams to be in vogue at the moment i have purchased my self a new car. Unfortunately the rules set out by the missus ruled out most of the liberties that are for sale. So I got a very nice 2001 Holden Vectra that has done 66k. I still has a perky 2.2l motor. And another rule set down by the missus was that it has to remain stock :( (there goes my fun) . Now I have to get rid of one of my toys :(

HMMM lose a turbo convertible or a Lifted L series.... Decisions, decisions, And the looser is the Turbo convertible.

I like my L a lot better. So the Capri will be up for sale in the next week or so.

Will post pic's of my new car as soon as I take some tomorrow.

Yeh red with white mags. I'm looking at the $4k mark. For details it is an 89 turbo, 160k on the clock. new roof, neat condition. also have a matching hard top for an extra grand. Got to do a few things first before sale time.

As for the car we needed a decent car, and we have a 3 year extensive warranty on it. so if it brakes they fix it hehe.

So what "rules" are these!?!? they must be out there if the end result is 2001 Holden Vectra. :-) lol

Hope your both happy with the new ride.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

A car that I cant play with. and one she can drive.

there never was any question as to which car was going. The L is in for some major TLC. Timing belt, oil seals, wheel bearings, cv shaft, brakes, etc... so it shall be sweet when it gets back

it hasn't been a project car for a while. haven't had the funds to do any thing to it. as for not doing the work, its easier and a better job will be done by a mechanic.

I've noticed on here that if it happens to one person it will happen to several others.
