WA EJ gurus please read... adapter plate Q.

Hey guys & gals,
Noticed lately that nearly every WA member on here has become an EJ guru. This is a good thing in many ways, especially when I have to ask silly EJ questions.
So may I ask, where are you guys getting all your adapter plates made up? I'm taking on another EJ conversion some time soon and I'm gonna need one. If I can't find one I'll just build it myself, but it'd be heaps easier to have one made.

i believe all the 22 swappers are making them themselves. 4muff has a template and one made up of steel already.

Mmmm.... might just have to fab one up then.
Now to find some 12mm aluminium, rather not build one out of steel myself.

Nah 4muff just got a 90% finished one that Vidler had sitting there. It's an aluminium one nearly finished except it just needs the holes drilled and tapped. He took a stencil of it but its still not in the car so it can be inspected in even further detail for the moment (im sure Brendon won't mind).
Alex still needs one - he's trying to find some 12mm ally so we can make one off Brendon's stencil.
Tim and Alex post up here when you find a good place to get the ally from hey.

I don't hink you can get 12mm alloy. I think it is only available in 10 and 14mm plate. Well around here it is any way. I do laser cut 12mm steel ones for $220

I will transfer the holes also to the stencil once I have got them right.

i do happen to be operating a cnc plate cutter at work at the moment. If anyone wants one out of gr350 steel, i could probably find an offcut lying around if someone was to give me a copy of the template.
