Hatchie... open heart operation.

Post by SuBaRiNo » Thu Jul 20, 2006 1:39 pm

For thoughs of you that don't know already... hatchie is currently engine-less.

The motor is off with Clint getting a rebuild. There has been some minor complications so the heads have required some extra work.... but hopefully the motor will be back for refitting for next weekend.

Apparently the engine had some major problems with Cylinder 1 and cylinder 4 didn't look to good either so it looks like i have made the right decision.

More problems... someone in the past has done some repairs to the engine and has put either ej20 or ej18 parts in it. Something involving the valves and one of the heads.... im not sure exactly.... but new parts had to be ordered in.

Now re-fitting is pushed back another week.
