How many lanes are ddicated to bikes there ? That unused bit on the sid of the road a safety zone or another bike path, for tricycles and unicycles ? That blue , factory colour for an L, not common but think seen it before ....

Between the curb and the white line on the road is supposed to be the designated bicycle lane. The brown /rust coloured lane is a dual use lane for pedestrians and bicycles.
Some where in America a judge made a woman, who decided the footpath was to be used to pass a school bus, wear a sign of shame on the corner of the streets where her offense occurred.
I'm pretty sure if a judge did that in Western Australia, there would be no room on the corner due to idiots with signs.

Pretty much two lanes dedicated to what looks like non existent pedestrians and cyclists while cars bank up for miles, I'd probably do the same, it's not like there isn't enough room to widen the exit lane and bring it back a couple of hundred meters, the end of Roe Highway where it meets the freeway in peak hour is much the same.

Yep that'd be me. Any chance I get to dodge traffic I will. Isn't that the point of owning a 4wd vehicle.
