No worries my mate.. Glad you got a leave pass ;) I'm under the impression that my trouble and strife is not wanting to make the trip either.. oh damn.. such a shame :(
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

Not sure myself what I will be driving.

Will definitely bring the new one down at somestage so you guys can see what a real car looks and goes like.

Will bring the Outback for a beach bash if I still have it.

And was hoping to bring the RS down too but that ain't gonna happen now due to my own stupidity trying to play mechanic - oh and the fact that it doesn't have any wheels or tyres since they are now attached to a certain Gen2 GT Wagon :(

and if anybody is wondering how I was going to bring 3 cars - the camp site is only 20minutes away from home :)

LOL.. thought you'd like that one Dan. Yeah mate.. 2 and 2 if you can get it.

Nice time bro.. We'll get the red rocket sorted for the next big trip. I'm still keen to get to SA and I think Wayneo would be up for it too.

I wouldn't bother bringing the white crap.. If it's anything like all the others with that badge on the front.. well all I can say is "you brought it !!"

Surely with all the parts you have lying around, you'd have a set of wheels and tyres but hey, the RS doesn't really go very good on the sand.. although it would probably get further than that white POS... bwahahahaha

I'll let you buy those rims back... $2200 and I'll throw in the rest of the car ;) even comes with 16" gold WRX rims with bald tyres... same ones as the previous owner tried to sell on the car to me

Hey Doug, What time you want to leave? I was thinking leaving early morning before the warm weather sets in :)

No rush Nigel, so come up after a good sleep.

Already packed.. With this sort of heat, there sounds like there is going to be lots of fluid loss... lucky we have a cure for that :)

Set the sails guys it is going to be Southerly 40kmh tail winds for the Perth guys, should keep the fuel costs down a bit (lucky buggers).

I have a R.B.T / Yellow sticker road block at Horrocks turn off (Northampton Dirt Drags) and a big head wind to look forward to.

That's the down side out of the way, on the upside I have three and a half days off, a fully stocked Esky, Rods and Reels ready to scream, Snorkeling gear ready to get wet, and a smooth running L.

Bring it on...................................
