Moving

Post by JPM » Sun Nov 11, 2012 8:27 pm

The family and I are doing the big sea change and moving up to sunny Geraldton for a few years due to work!

On the plus side I get to do a heap more fishing and the physical size of the town means much shorter commutes to and from work- meaning more time at home.

So, for any Gero locals, look out for a white lifted Gen 2 wagon with a turbo bonnet and 'whitened out' rear windows. Make sure you say hi, 'cos I won't know anybody else in town. Moving the week prior to Christmas!

Regard
Jayd

I'll shoot in and say hi around Christmas(if you don't mind) as I am heading home to Kalbarri for a week or so.
I used to live in Gero too so if you want to know any good fishing or offroading spots let me know.. ;)

Yes, yes I do!

I'll be living in Wandina, not far apparently from one of the River mouths, so I'm thinking tailor off the beach might be a chance???

Nice one Jayd. Does work find you a place to live?

As for fishing spots..

Beach fishing: my best recommendation would have to be Lucy's Beach

Boat Fishing: find the 'lumps' at Horricks

Looks like we'll need to start making weekender trips to Gero

Yep, a mansion near the beach. Maybe not quite a mansion, but a two year old 4 by 2 in a new suburb. Looking forward to the move, and finding my own secret spot to catch some fish. Thanks for your spot tips, I'll let you know how I go!!

All good Jayd, there is lots more spots to show you but I want put them up here ;)

Enjoy your time up there. I spent 5 years in Bluff Point and had a great time, lived across the road from the beach and lived (most weekends) on our surfcat that we used to pull up the beach near home.

You'll love the no peak hour traffic runs :)
