Post by RSR 555 » Fri Sep 24, 2010 6:24 am

Hey ppls.. I just brought this car this week and had to leave for work :( so I'm really hoping these 4 weeks go really, really fast :)

It has some damage to the drivers side but wont be too much trouble. I told my daughter that I just brought it and she asked if she could have it instead of the RX sedan.. so I thought it would be a much safer car for her

What do you think of it? lic'd.. auto and only $800

I see the passenger front guard is crimped

how bad is the drivers side?

not that it really matters for the price

You can call it the drivers side if you wish Mark.

Starting to set the standard for values. This is one Foz grille I like.
kms? Hows it drive ? A fella could almost afford to cut the back top off and try turn it into a new Brumby for that price. The tail lights have a familiarity about them from Brumby pont of view

hehe.. they did have it advertised for $1000 and I thought it was a joke when Tristan (90Brumby) told me about it. But a phone call later and a small trip to the other side of Perth and the deal was done for $800 smackaroonees :)

They were a really nice family and had owned the car since new but had given it to the son as his first car.. over all it's a little scratchy but with a bit of TLC she should be a good thing. Drivers side damage is both doors and a front fender to replace (just so happens that 2 days before this deal, I brought chriSTIans 97 Forester which will become the parts donor) and some minor damage to the sill panel. LHF fender is just pushed it from someone opening the door on it (easy fix) and one small dent it the tailgate.

It drives ok but has a bent RHF strut so I'll fix that and go for a good drive. I was going to make it a ute until the daughter asked for it.. maybe the spares car will become a test car for the cut-down.

Yeah I bet the people that place the ads in there don't know that it's available at 3am ;)

The Foz will be a great car for Danielle and lucky for most (95%) of the work needed to be done to the car is by a panel beater.. so I'll stay right away from that and finish my L.Series Offroader
