Aye you Mob,
Sorry I have not been available for the last few months I have (uncharacteristically) been working and travelling quite frequently on the weekends and so when I am at home I have been just bumming out and spending the time with my girls. As a result I have basically had no forum time, no 4WD, no swinging spanners no nothing.
I have everything crossed that this is about to come to an end for a while as we’ll return to the social life. As a result I look forward to you catching up on what should now be some rather muddy tracks (given it’s the wet season down here in the SW).
So this thread is not a total waste/bore I have attached a few pictures of some of my travels below.
Can you pick this place from the air?
4WDing on the beach in Broome… well 2WD anyway - would have gone further if i had a Subaru

. Sorry but it was a Nissan, if it makes you feel any better I thrashed it
NO 4WDing this trip

Who can guess the location from my hotel view (hint its a city somewhere in Oz).

Back to the bush – Yeah.
Dirt roads outside of Broome.
I HATE this city (sorry if you live here) and again NO 4WD

.
WoHoo back in remote WA (and back in a Toyota – sweet either a Troopie or Lux) anyone wana guess where
?

Have a good 1.
Cheers

Nice. You've been everywhere, man. Is the third one in the first post Newcastle? I've been there a couple of times and it looks familiar.

Well i have been on the road again (Adelaide x2, Melbourne, Brisbane - i do not think that i have any good pictures this time really) as a result i have not been 4WDing and not been on any forums so i am feeling a little out of the loop. With 15+ pages of unread topics there is an excellent chance that i am not going to read it all.
I will attempt to catch up on the local stuff and get involved.
There to all the work there has been NO progress on the RX (the joys of work, family and moving into your own house i suppose).
Sorry its been ages and i'll attempt to be online.
Cheers.

Good to seeya back again.
What is your line of work to be doing so much travel. Id love to see that many different places when im working instead of being stuck in a little town installing ceiling fans and fixing lights.
Best wishes for the new year and hope you get to spend some time on the end of a spanner.

Cheers Suparoo, I am trained as psychologist however i a not currently working in a clinic. Basically (and the short version is), I am currently working at the Uni of WA teaching our Dr's (and other health care professionals) the importance of providing a better
health care service and health care service delivery. As a result i travel for a number of reasons - its usually presenting at conferences however it also includes state and national advice and consultation. In addition to this i also sometimes travel to work with Aboriginal communities and i also have my own community work (around Innamincka/Cameron Corner in SA) to manage - i am finding it hard to find the time to swing spanners as sometimes i am away and/or traveling on wkds and when home do like to spend time with my girls (wife n daughter).
Next trip is for about 5 days in Brisbane and departure is in a few weeks.

Now the next few pictures are just some shots that I though that I would share.
On the last trip when returning to Perth we needed to take a detour. Pictures below give you some idea why this trip was not that smooth and took a while.
