Ola Ross and Corax Im from Australind (dont hold that against me)

I drive a standard issue white 89 brumby my wife drives a 92 liberty (stock) she wants a Mazda CX9 eventually I will talk her into a New Subaru

I want to modify the running gear and engine but keep the body as is perhaps lower and put in as much of a liberty or later subaru as possible

it is a long term project (wife permiting)

And Ross thanks for the tip

Hi Nomad,

I drive through Donnybrook occasionally and there is usually a brumby parked on the main street which looks pretty average except that it has a rear step fitted. Do you know who owns the car or more importantly where they got the step?

Cheers,
Corax.

Am giving some thought to getting rid of my targa brumby (if another deal I've got going on happens). Got 2" lift kit 14" rims but all the usual brumby rust, will post some pics when she is ready for sale. Was thinking around the $2800 mark but am open to offers as long as she goes to a loving home:)

Cheers,
Corax.

Hey Buno Subadudes,

I don't suppose anybody around here knows where there might be a MY series wagon/Brumby with the dark blue/grey interior around here that I can take apart? Have bought a project car and most of the interior plastics are missing! Have looked in the local wreakers (Halafax, Busso and Donnybrook) and there is nothing there. The old MY/Brumbies are getting rare! Thanks for any help.

Cheers,
Corax.

Hi guys!

New user here, and new to the scene as a whole really. Not a hell of alot of knowledge but learning quickly! Have been predominantly involved in the V8/streetcar scene in Bunbury since i was a young tacker but now im a bit older and not much wiser i now realise a lowered 5.7litre VT Calais aint the greatest for camping, and doesnt fair too well entering the sand around dalyellup or belvedere.

That said, i picked up an '88 sportswagon for $1100 which i went halves in with a bloke from work as something we can tinker with and enjoy that bit of offroad fun! Its rego'd and running...which is about the best i can say for it lol. The roo bar is bent, the spotties dont work, the tyres are bald, its got rust, and a bad exhaust leak but in about 3 weeks she should be ready to rumble!

Already in the store room at work we've sussed out a Pioneer CD player that owes us nothing, and a GME UHF with antenna that owes us nothing. Good start we think :) replace the nearly blown 6x9's in the back and inside entertainment will be done. Spotties are going to be an easy fix and the roo bar will get tied to a sea container while we gently reverse her back...all fixed! After that some new 14" tyres, rubber guard flares, and a new exhaust gasket will see us then just maintaining and enjoying the old girl.

One picture of her the day i picked her up Monday this week, but keep an eye for us on a track/dune near you!
