Haha no worries. Most of us have snatch straps and maxtrax.. I don't think the sand will be soft after all the rain we've had. Hopefully the weather is good on Sat.

Yes we are still on. Doesn't matter about the weather, still be good to get out for a burn around.

6 cars going so far. I think everyone will be bringing a few beers and some lunch.

Meet at the United fuel station crner of Marmion Ave and Hester Ave in Clarkson at 8.30am.

Bring lunch, drinks, full tank of fuel, tyre pump and any recovery gear you may have.
Anyone who is keen or running late can send me a txt on 0457969024. Taza

His cv shaft. Snapped where it was lengthened. The guy who lengthened it did a piss poor job of it. Happened on the second dune. Taza also had troubles.

I looked at that CV shaft looked well made ... obviously wasn't :)

I bet a new and improved one will be made by the bloke that charged him an arm and a leg for it.

Yeah repair job by someone who didnt really comprehend the sorts of forces that were going to be applied. Then it looks like the apprentice jumped on the welder.....

Hats off to the piece of can and hoseclamp that got it out :D.
