Wanted, Manual Steering rack L series 93, Perth

Heading to Perth on Monday arvo from Kalbarri and looking for a decent Manual Steering rack for a 93 L Series to replace my recently replaced dodgy steering rack.

Broken boots are ok as I am going to have it reconditioned.

Will be at Paul's (RSR555) workshop on Tuesday 6th Aug for a timing kit replacement.

Wednesday 7th Aug @ Carline Rockingham for Exhaust mod, that should be finished by mid morning.

Can travel to anywhere in Perth or surrounding area late Wednesday Arvo to pick up a rack if anyone has one spare or wrecking a L Series.

Full bus on the way down to Perth but should have room on the way back, should be heading back to Kalbarri around the 14th if this helps.

Cheers Guy, if you want to sell one of those racks that would be Awesome, I have managed to find some really clean H4 headlights along with a set of genuine plastic protectors so will pass on the headlights, but the rack is just Gold.

Who are you getting to recon yr steering rack, I have one that needs doing as well.

Heya Stuart,

Yeah I got it done at Auto power steering @ 1/21 Guthrie St Osborne Park WA 6017

(08) 9446 4122

They do both Auto and manual steering racks, it cost me $300 for a recondition, just make sure you ask them in the quote as to what is included as it did not include tie rod ends which I was a little disapointed with.
