Had a good day, smashed my front bumper but the car went better than I expected considering the turbo is bigger than I would like (TD05)only got a couple of pics, I'll put them up later.

yeh, it was a good day, i would have rathered to go in the experianced group though, i was the only one in the beginers not to get bogged and to get up and down the dunes first time every time. Even the organisers got bogged at least once, i was the only one that was still in high range too!! I did rip off my mud guard though, the whole way around the wheel :( but it was still a good day. :(

Some pics from yesterday

The group.....20 cars from memory.

Image

Stuck a bit.

Image

Stuck a lot. You get prize for lunatic of the day, great to see the GT being used and abused hahaha.

Image

Waiting waiting.

Image

A bit of carnage after hitting the bottom of a dune then launching a few feet at the top.

Image

The cause of the traffic jam.
EDIT, just noticed the r/h rear guard and window of the wagon are damaged, must have been what he hit...OUCH.... but nothing on the news or in the paper even though the Ch 7 Chopper was there so ??????
Another edit, just blew the pic up & the back r/ corner of the trailer is also smacked in so he may have hit it from behind and his body might have done the damage to the car. ??

Na i had a vacum leak, all it was was one of the pipes came off. All the pics are on my girlfrinds camera. will but them up soon. It was an awesum day. The brumby didn't miss a beat. I went in the "experienced" group but the two brumby's went in the "beginneres" group. apparently they did good but had regrets not going in the "experienced" group.

Where Tincey was getting pulled out by the EA82 L, i loved that part of the dunes:P

Also at the end of the day i had an issue with the little brown fuse box, there must be a connection moving and whats happening is i don't have any power to start the car until a wiggle the box!!!! lol but it drove home ok and didn't stop. will look into that soon:)
