CRW has just added a heap of gen1&2 Liberties and a complete Gen3 wagon, with heavy front damage.
About time, their Subaru stock was getting low.
Lots of mud, pack gumbies :D

Kilsyth PAP have an 82 MY touring Wagon in stock, auto, with the high-rise console, electric windows, and the mechanical (not electronic) dash.

Centre Road Wreckers have a Brumby with a rough canopy on it, a few L's, Gen1, 2, 3 Liberties, Gen2 Outback, a couple of Foresters. Good range of standard parts.

Was at centre road yesterday, a few L series (1 EFI), a few gen 1 liberties, a few gen 2, and a few gen 3. Think I even saw a gen 4 sedan. Also a H6 outback with the motor relatively uncannibalised. No brumbys.

I just saw today that Jollys in Dandinong have updated their stock of subarus and quiet a few there too.
H6 with no engine or gearbox, but lots of other things to choose from.

I might tour both

The H6 at Jollys has a nice leather interior and the big 2 pot (316mm?) front brake setup, which i understand is as good as the 4 pot (same if not bigger pad area). Was bummed the H6 engine was gone i wanted the ac compressor and alternator.

The Gen2 Libs at Jollys Dandenong have been there for a while.

Pity i didn't notice the H6 at center road!

would the leather seats from the H6 fit into a Gen1?

they'd be far more comfortable than the current orignial ones

B4 at Jollies Dandenong. I'm going there today if anyone wants anything from it...

The engine and Gearbox from the B4 is in the showroom at Jollys (well if it's still there) the car has since been compacted before I could get the interior (Rego was more important than leather interior for the time being)

Registered the 91 liberty wagon today.
so now onto parts for the brumby.

have to start making a list this weekend :)

Don't worry, you didnt miss anything. Someone had taken the sunroof & the interior was left open to the elements...totally stuffed :(

Congrats on the Lib

PAP Kilsyth 26-10:
Couple of standard Liberty's
Outback
98 Forester
Early Impreza
1982 MY wagon in fairly good condition - almost no rust in the usual spots (bottom of A pillars, rear door, etc). Driver's side door NG but other panels looked ok. Unfortunately no slanted console. It does have the intermittant wiper set up still fitted if anyone wants to upgrade their Brumby...

Pity you don't need an auto box from one (98 Foz), as I have one I don't need...
Kilsyth PAP manual gearbox price is $80.50 (though it does say "with diff FWD = $172.50").

Nah, not after the auto... Don't know if I'll ever get to an auto for offroading. Love the manual too much!

Last time I purchased a subaru gearbox from PAP it was $250 as it seems to fall into the 4wd gearbox category from memory. This was a long time ago now, I do remember being able to slip a subi box through for $125 when they didn't know what they were...

Nachaluva, it'd be good to have some company, dunno when I'll be available - got a lot on for the rest of this month :???: Maybe early December?

Cheers

There's a 90 Brumby at PAP Kilsyth, I just had a look and picked up the tailgate. Everything is there except the stereo part of the lower dash - doors look pretty good, has A/C, quad headlights, full alloy front bar (slight dent in the bottom middle section). Has a canopy fitted, but the stainless around the bed is all there - not great nick though (the bit above the tailgate was gone). The red MY wagon is gone, everything else is just regular Liberty/Outback/ Forester/Impreza. The WRX is still there, but nothing I could see worth grabbing (turbo stuff all gone, front 4 pots gone).
