I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there's any Gen1 S2 liberty wagons at Imalach's?

Cheers

I didn't know imalach's did a list of wrecks in the yard. Holly's does and it's pretty thorough. I've been there once about 10 or more years ago now :/

Imlach's 31-7:
Red 1989 Brumby, basic model. Has a home-made rollbar of sorts and a bolt-on front bar. Tailgate is still there but rough. No tailgate trim. Both taillights there but damaged (drivers side small crack, pass-side smashed). Interior essentially complete.
Didn't really notice anything else new.
Sorry Bennie, I didn't see your post on the G1 S2 until now. If you go on Imlach's website the cars in stock is a PDF (second from bottom left side).
1989 Brumby - Shiny new red paint, stroked EJ20 phase 2 SOHC with Darton sleeves bored to EJ22, Wiseco high-compression pistons, Delta 2000 grind cams , EJ/XT6 5 stud with WRX 4/2 pots, 5-speed, 86 GTS seats and so much more.

Was there today - nabbed me the gen1 series2 wagon tailgate from Imlach's.

There was also a dark GT forester there. Most of the wiring loom gone. Engine and turbo still there. Got a standard TD04 on it, noted it had slotted discs front and rear.

Lots of libertys from Gen1 to Gen4, a few imprezas and foresters, one L wagon, one MY wagon and the already mentioned Brumby (now minus its carbie).

Not much to report on the two pick a part yards. Someone got a turbo conversion from kilsyth - one stripped out WRX - wiring loom, engine, gearbox and brakes all gone, presumably in one hit.

Cheers

I think that one's got a bit more than just front end damage!

I'm chasing a decent long dash for the 6 gauge cluster install.

I haven't seen a decent long dash for a while, the few still around always are perished badly for the vents. Give John at Volks-Baru a try, he has a MY sedan out front for parts I believe.

Will A leonne rear bumber fit a brumby ?

I've just redented my tailgate again after having it restored.

Also I have heard of a Mob that Manufactures Car panels. Is it worth my while pursuing them to see if they could make a batch for everyone??

No, a Leone rear bumper is completely different in profile (sits too high), you need a USDM rear bumper or a AgQuip bar. eBay seller rebel2red happens to have one of the latter for sale (which is the first I've seen for a long time). I will have a spare USDM rear bar shortly (I am upgrading mine from a black to a chrome plated 1982 bar) but it is in need of some straightening.

17-3 Imlachs :
1989 Brumby in white. Base model (single headlights), has had aftermarket nudgebar added. Front mudflaps, both damaged. Stainless trim damaged all round bed but good over windows. Pass-side taillight gone, drivers side damaged beyond repair. No AC, no PS, no intermittent wipers. Doors pretty good. A bit of rust in tray but otherwise decent. Ignition switch NG.
