Jolly's Ringwood 27-9
1 L series sportswagon, looked complete. Stock carby model.
3 2003+ Foresters - I was looking at these as possible rear brake upgrades but they were all 266x10 rotors instead of 290x18 (which I think might be unique to the turbo model). All pretty knocked around.
3 Outback wagons - again, all knocked around.
There were also a couple of early Foresters and a few Impreza's I didn't look at.

DIY (formerly Andy's) Campbellfield 2/10 : Nothing new since last update. I grabbed the rear backing plates & hubs for the Brumby brake upgrade.

Jolly's Dandenong 3/10 : Brumby still there but a few more pieces missing. Lots of junk now in the tray from other vehicles. WRX has gone, as have all cars in the first 4 rows (#1-49). They now have a large semi-enclosed area for wheels & tyres they have stripped, prices aren't bad either.

PAP Kilsyth 4/10 : No more 4x140 PCD Subaru's left! The tan 1981 sedan is gone, the blue '83 MY wagon is gone, even the standard white L wagon is gone. Probably the first time I have been to PAP Kilsyth where there wasn't at least one 80's era Subaru in the yard. Just a row of first gen Impreza's, first and second get Liberty's, a couple of first gen Forester's and that's it. This could be the start of the end of MY's & L's at yards...

If you see one of those little black plastic plugs that fill the hole in brumby chrome tub skirting between tail gate and body, please grab me one.

If you mean the one that goes into the side trim as it meets the tailgate, I'm looking for one also! From memory I have one side but not the other. I checked with Frog awhile back, no longer available. If I turn up a set I'm going to have some duplicates made.

If it's the piece that goes into the ends of the tailgate stainless, I have a pair of those spare. They are very thin plastic, while the side trim caps are a bit more solid.

It's the bit on the side rail stainless on top LHS before the gap for the tailgate. I might have some for the side trim on my parts car. I will check and maybe we can swap??

PAP Kilsyth 18-10 (yes, a week late).

1 black-over-yellow 1982 Brumby, ex-cowgirl owned and very rough. No front bar, everything in interior painted black, and pretty much all of the exterior also painted black. Has side steps but very rough and damaged. Tailgate gone, lots of rust. Had the clip-on tonneau cover so no stainless trim around bed. Complete rear bumperettes.

Nothing else of note, just the regular Forester/Impreza/Liberty mix.

DIY in Campbellfield 30% off all Japanese this weekend...

Imlachs (Centre Rd) 26-3: Beige 1983 MY wagon, basic version (not Touring, no AC, no PS). Appeared to be complete except for air filter box. Also a L wagon, also beige. And the usual Forester/Impreza/Liberty/etc suspects.

PAP Campbellfield 2-7 : 1983 MY Touring wagon. Has full AC, full PS (except the rubber joint, which I snagged), fast glass. Instrument cluster already gone - rest of dash looked good though (tan of course). I also collected the centre console (high topper). I left the front half as it was a bit hacked up.
Also an L wagon, looked pretty standard. A 1998-ish Impreza with WRX front bumper but stock everything else. Nothing else stood out.

Update from last week as I went back to PAP Campbellfield as 1/2 price day. I grabbed a few bits off the MY but most of the rest is still there (a few of the AC switches are gone, and I stripped out the AC airbox for another Subaru guy). The front bar would have been a good deal, but needed dual headlight setup.

I then went on Centre Road (Imlachs) as they received an 1983 red MY wagon during the week. Probably the rustiest one I've seen, really bad in the doors and frame. Base model with AC, so I grabbed the AC dash switch. Also grabbed the intermittent wiper module (dash was already ripped up). The AC compressor was already gone.

I forgot to mention Centre Road also had a H6 Outback. Good brake upgrade for most EJ-based cars...290x18mm rear discs.

Jolly's Dandenong 23-7.
Brumby - tailgate there but a bit beat up - repairable. Trim still there but very rough. Both tail lights damaged (pass-side is inside cab behind drivers door). Has AC. Body is pretty rough but complete. I grabbed the pass-side gutter rail trim and the front windscreen corner trims.
Didn't check out the L wagon. Wandered past a few Impreza's but nothing special.

I'm just wondering if anyone knows if there's any Gen1 S2 liberty wagons at Imalach's?

Cheers

I didn't know imalach's did a list of wrecks in the yard. Holly's does and it's pretty thorough. I've been there once about 10 or more years ago now :/

Imlach's 31-7:
Red 1989 Brumby, basic model. Has a home-made rollbar of sorts and a bolt-on front bar. Tailgate is still there but rough. No tailgate trim. Both taillights there but damaged (drivers side small crack, pass-side smashed). Interior essentially complete.
Didn't really notice anything else new.
Sorry Bennie, I didn't see your post on the G1 S2 until now. If you go on Imlach's website the cars in stock is a PDF (second from bottom left side).

Was there today - nabbed me the gen1 series2 wagon tailgate from Imlach's.

There was also a dark GT forester there. Most of the wiring loom gone. Engine and turbo still there. Got a standard TD04 on it, noted it had slotted discs front and rear.

Lots of libertys from Gen1 to Gen4, a few imprezas and foresters, one L wagon, one MY wagon and the already mentioned Brumby (now minus its carbie).

Not much to report on the two pick a part yards. Someone got a turbo conversion from kilsyth - one stripped out WRX - wiring loom, engine, gearbox and brakes all gone, presumably in one hit.

Cheers
