Where are all the Victorians?

Post by El_Freddo » Wed Oct 05, 2005 1:18 pm

Just thought i'd open another topic up to level with the number of topics NSW has (2)...

So, where is every one? (most likely in Queensland, that seems to be where most victorians are... i'm going to check their posts now...)

Cheers

Olinda. I think I've seen your wagon a couple of times down near the Basin on Mouuntain Hwy.
I drive a Brumby and my wife drives a metalic silver L tourer.
You may have seen my ute around when it was lifted, it's a white late model & I almost always have ladders on the racks.
Where are you?

Yes, Ive been on the Olinda Basin road often. I live in Upwey. We'll be keeping an eye out for each other now, I reckon.. I heard a very nice sounding white Brumby sitting at the lights in Tecoma. Does yours have a nice exhaust note?

Have you ever been around the Doncaster area bratgeebah? I swear I've seen a Brumby as decribed around there once.

Yeah, it does have a nice sounding exhaust. Not real loud though.
It's not lifted anymore. Measuring from the rear stub axle to the rear wheel arch it is 100mm lower than my mates stocker.
Yes you probably would have seen it in Doncaster as I use it for work and average 100km/day anywhere between the mountain, Brighton the city and Ivanhoe areas.
It has the brake kit I'm developing and early wrx 15's at the moment but I have a set of Lib rx 2.5 wheels I'd like to put on it when I can afford new 205/50/16 tyres.

I think all us Vic board members should organise some get together BBQ's etc. I can't go offroad though as my car is set up to corner and is too low for anything bigger than a speed bump.
How many Vic. members are there?

xaymaca does your Brumby have a big hole under the battery tray? and have the auto tranny cross member mounts been removed from the body underneath?
I had an 87 that I had converted to Targa and 4 headlight front.

Hi to Jono. I don't know if you remember me but I think I sold you some bits and pieces a while back at your place.

Hi to gtlegs. I don't know if you remember but I think I met you at centre road wreckers once.
