Walhalla, Aus Tracks to the Extreme

Post by NachaLuva » Sun Apr 20, 2014 1:11 pm

A few weekends ago, Venom, El Freddo, a late model Pajero & myself headed to Walhalla in Victoria Australia. Its a historic gold mining town, now a quaint tourist destination. But it has some of the best offroad hardcore tracks I've seen or done.

Hers a few pics to wet the appetite

Crossing the Thompson River:

Campsite next to a fallen tree (this area was devastated during the 2009 bushfires)

Fultons Creek Track was very steep with a loose gravelly surface & ruts, plus some awesome water crossings

Flats Track pushed both me & the Foz to the limits. Here the track runs out lol:

Some great pics and vids there, so wished I was over there for that trip. Maybe one day :)
