Granite Flat Spur

Post by MY_STI » Thu Oct 21, 2010 10:34 am

Hey Guys,

Long way from home (tas), but looking at spending a few days hiking in the Bogong area within the next few weeks and was thinking of heading up via Granite Flat Spur to get close to Cleve Cole (several in the group aren't as fit/keen/silly).

What is the track currently like? Just how '4wd' is it? Which more or less directly translates to: Would a subie get up there? Or is the in the realm of lifted locked monsters?

Finally would anyone have an old bus I might be able to borrow/hire for a few days or even buy?

Cheers

Sorry but I don't like the chance of getting your hands on an old bus as I believe that Metro Tasmania has garnered the lot.
