Pap cambellfield

Post by Wraith » Wed Jul 29, 2009 8:10 am

I went by last night on the way home, Pick A Part in Campellfield.

2 MY series wagons, one with replacement type alloy bull bar in great nick.

And 2 Liberty Gen1 Wagons. One with EJ22 removed from car, but lying on its side next to it. Both Libs somewhat stripped of their interiors. Mechanicals still there.

No L series though.....:(

Just thought this info would be handy.

Take care all.
Destroy waves, NOT beaches.

1990 L Sportswagon (Mine)

1998 Liberty GX Wagon (Ours)
1987 L Touringwagon (SOLD!!)

There are a few variations out there Venom - I've got one that tucks up nice and close to the body and wraps over the top of the exhaust:

There is another one that hangs below the exhaust and is a full bar from one side to the other.

I'm probabily headed down to kilsyth PAP tomorrow, would you like me to grab one for you if I find one? Let me know - my number is zero four two one one eight four zero three one ;)

If anyone's out and about in a yard, I need the firewall stabilizer bar from a liberty, would prefer the steel one but if not it doesn't matter - I can get one later, just need one to get Ruby Scoo back on the road with the EJ ;)

Is that from firewall that is connected to gearbox? I think I have spare one in the garage. Its black hardened plastic. They're designed to break if there is an impact so that engine will go below firewall rather ending up firewall.

Thats the one AP - I didn't think when I got the gearbox, the one that was on it got stuck so I smashed it off the firewall - even that wasn't an easy task!

If you do come up, could you bring it with you? Also let me know what you want for it.

L Series wagon also has clean black bull bar on it, apart from that normal stuff in them, still complete.

PAP Campbellfield 29/8

Red L wagon with bullbar (not replacement style). A few wheels were missing (standard wagon-wheel style, painted silver)
Red Gen 1 Liberty wagon.

Both appeared to be complete.

I'm pretty sure it was, if it was 4wd i would've said something! Be aware it was at that time i commented it, it might be still there or not.

I didn't see the MY, either I missed it or it's gone. Pity as it looks like an '82 and might have had a slanted console.

The Vortex at Centre Road is definitely a 2wd.

I'm sure it was! Its rear 2wd discs were gone, is none turbo, non spider manifold (have not seen a spider manifold in a yard yet) and I think was pre '87 with a brown interior...

Also at centre road are quite a few liberties, all either 2wd manual or auto 2wd with one auto 2wd. There's an 84 MY touring wagon auto and a few L's, one or two being auto as well. The only thing really to note is the touring wagon that's the same colour as Guyph's one with the same grey interior, it was a carbie job though.

At PAP kilsyth there's one liberty with a cracked block, no tranny (auto) or exhaust or front seats. There's a few L's, most with a standard grey interior, one brown interior and another with the dark blue of the pre '87's. There's a Fiori now missings its thermo fan...

At PAP Cambellfeild there's that red L, the white MY with the said bullbar and a burgandy liberty auto.

All in all I had a good day out! Just need some time with Ruby Scoo this week to get some stuff in.

I am hunting for a good, not torn vinyl floor in the standard DL blue post '87 colour.

Cheers
