Acetyene Bottle Refill / Swap

Post by Matt » Tue Jul 14, 2009 6:31 pm

It isn't a subaru question but can you get Acetyene Bottle Refill / swapped in NSW without an account? As in QLD you need an account and i have heard a rumour you can in NSW. Thanks in advance. :-)

We used to be able to.

Apparently, the bottle companies now barcode all bottles which means they will know if somebody is swapping.

I haven't used acetylene in years, and I'm a boilermaker. Most places use LPG for the fuel gas now....

Lpg isn't as good cause its not as hot but LPG is heaps cheaper to run!

92 targa brumby (weekend runabout),
97 Lifted Outback (Dailey drive),
05 outback safety (Too cheap to pass up),
90 model liberty (was to be scrapped instead sold to workmate)
