Another year, another Subinats and another great time!
This thread is all about sharing pics and stories from Subinats24.
Before the event we drove to Sydney over two days, cut a lap of Mt Panorma, visited Bilpin, Boxer Beauty and drove over the big coat hanger.
Then Subinats! Started with a pre-meet meet up (top right in first pic). Since we didn’t need to bump in at 7:30am this year there was time for this!
It was great to meet so many Brumby and MY Sedan owners; and Sam who represented the MY wagon fraternity! There was one L series wagon and a Vortex as well. Two Vortexes were there, one already mentioned in the show and shine, the other being flogged around the the track with its EJ20 turbo!
This year we were to park up in an allocated area then return at 12 to bump in. Well that didn’t go to plan - we were parked up in the carpark and told to stay with our vehicles. It was great as we were able to meet get to know many other brumby owners before the show and shine. The downer was we didn’t get to go see the shoot out and later the motorkana was missed due to everyone hanging out after the parade lap or heading to the pub for a meal. Lots going on!
Waiting to be bumped in, and the infamous MCM Brumby reunion plus meeting Lucky Phil!
Awesome weather again this year too!
The Vortex in the show and shine:
The BrumleBee - (well deserved) winner of Best Brumby!
Brumby’s and the show and shine turn out:
I’ll leave it here for now as I get other pics sorted! I’m yet to check out my DSLR. It was hectic working two cameras on the day!
Cheers
Bennie

Sorry I couldn't make it, maybe next time they should go North ... ;p
From what I've seen on FB it was mostly newer models, not many classic / vintage Subies ... :/
Cheers, Bantum ...

Don’t be sorry mate!
There were even less classic/vintage models there last year!
I’ve checked out the pics on my DSLR - there’s some good ones on there. It’ll take me a while to transfer, resize and upload. I’ll get there though.
I was hoping Silverbullet Sam had dropped some of his pics on here by now too - get on it Sam!
Cheers
