Yeah when we got ours we were heavily warned, DON'T put the wrong code in 3 times or try to turn it over without the code. Coz apparently its so hard to prove that it is your car, so that subaru will then fix it.
These Alarms were not stock. Insurance companies wouldn't insure them so subaru recalled all of them and put them in. They are renowned for being dodgy. Once we identified that the alarm module was the problem we immediatly replaced it. I believe you can also have it rewired so you dont need it. (but you probebly cant insure it then. My 2c would be to ring subaru for help. If they will (they did for my dad) ask for a code and then brake into your car with a coat hanger. If it is still dead when you get in, then you need to take it to subaru.
Coat hanger trick. place it down the side of the window and try to hook the mechenism and unlock the door
