Thats the easy way to get remote, done many of these, it is easy and good value.
As the Subaru uses seperate imobiliser and door control systems, it will interface well.
L serious, still.

the plugs are single pole plugs and i think are opaque in colour, should be behind the cover to the right of the accelerator pedal

i fixed my wrx 2002 issue by this metod ... After many tries ...
Te problem was sony cr1620 batery totally discherged...
After changing battery on both keys they worked fine

a good tip this one ...

I had four sbyes ... Actualy i have two : Wrx 2002 and legacy 98 sedan ...
I had solved so many troubles for these car ... In future i will post here very usefull pics and procedures ..
