keyless entry not working..

Hello,

When i bought my liberty RX 2.5L 00 model last week, it came with 2 keys, one with remote keyless entry on it. It doesn't seem to work, i replaced batteries and still doesnt do anything.

what steps should i take to work out the problem?

Take it to the dealer/service centre. Most likley you haven't purchased correct batteries.

thanks, but it works now! im so stupid.
wen i bought new batteries for the remote, i tested it... but at the time wen i tested it, i was installing my new sound system, and electric plugs were out.. haha one musta been the keyless entry plug
