Noosa north shore - MUST READ

Post by Outback bloke » Tue Apr 10, 2007 6:11 pm

I have attached a .pdf file around here that I urge every one to read. Please print it out, fill it in and mail ASAP. It is in relation to changes to Noosa north shore/Teewah and Cooloola beaches and changes the government is wanting to make.

If you want to be able to afford to go to the beach in the future you need to fill in this form and send it in.

I also urge people to edit the form to suit themselves but I recommend deleting the first part of it where it says to close the beach between first and third cutting.

Please don't just think that there will be enough "other" people that will fill it in and send it.

If this goes through the way the government want the beach at DI will end up like Bribie, Moreton and Fraser. Available to the rich and nothing in return for your money except more power given to NPWS. Enough is enough. We need to save our right to access the beach the way it is.

Please pass the word around about this. If you frequent other 4wd forums, pass on the link to the .pdf file or send the link to this topic here.

do it now guys ,I live up here and i suspect this is happening a lot quicker than originally planned . The onslaught the beach coped this easter unfortunately wont help the cause. I do agree that proper management will certainly help things but knee jerk reactions will definitely not.
It wouldnt be the first time that decisions were already lock in by "uneducated authorities" before the supposed recommendations were presented for public scrutiny!!!!
