Hey guys I am in Townsville, have a '92 Brumbywhich I love. Doing it up a bit, and part of that is thinking bout putting 2" lift kit in. Am keen to go do a bit of four wheel driving. I have only moved here bout 2 months ago so any ideas about good places to go would be awesome. I have 13" wheel, bout to put sunraisure hubs on, are 13" ok for lift kit, will still handle ok?

There are quite a few areas in the local area. Like Mt Louisa(there some fun to be had up there) / Oononba/Savanaha, Ollera Creek/ Clement State forest / Mt Stewart, etc. We should get together for sure one saturday arvo or something? I will post some pics later of the above listed places.
apesybabe, I know where you can get some 14" Poeguet Rims from if you want? in tvl.

I like your ride very sweet in deed. Yeah that would be wicked to catch up and go 4wding. So where bouts are these 14" pug rims? What sort of price am I looking at?

The pugs are out at condon (i think i it would be classified as condon anyway, way down ross river road), and he wanted $100 for the set of 4. They included wheel nuts and some old tyres, that probably aren't road legal. The rims are also steel ones so they aren't that good looking, but for off road rims they would be good. Do you have some pics of your ute?

Verns Smash Repairs Phone No. 4779 1751. They won't be the cheapest(but won't be the deerest either) but do a good job, turns out on of mates had his supra done there, pretty good customer service to. They are on Bayswater Road, between, Pilkington and Nathan/Duckworth Street.

Douglas and Miller are good sparypainters but expensive they quoted me 7grand for a respray, exterior, interior, engine bay and tray.
We also use Dave taylors they also do a good job but are less expensive.
I got a quote from Hi tec refinishing for a basic respray, approx 2grand for just the exterior. i havent seen any of there work for a while but from what i remember they did a fairly good job.
