A twin turbo 3.5 v6 one. A full on class 8 off-roader. Another bloke had a GQ with a twin turbo 1UZ-FE (4L quad cam lexus motor) and it spun up 685hp on the dyno.
Sounds like it might be time to start work on that twin turbo 3.0l Vortex Brett ;)

Anybody have a recent update on this event whether it is going ahead or been canned by the red tape barons?

Update: Found the answer 16-09-07:

Posted: Wed Aug 15, 2007 7:26 pm Image Image Sorry to say this but we have had to postpone this event until 2008, the main reason is we still have to get it through all the council requirements and the club has decide to postpone for now until we get it through all the processes, we want this event to be around for a long time.

From the lack of replies I take it that this event has definitely been "canned".

:( :( :( :(

The weekend has been and gone with out permission form the council to run it. They are still fighting with council and have penciled in March next year for the event.

More updates as they come.
