GEN 1 and GEN 2 Differences

hi guys..i want to know or need to know what the differences between gen 1 and gen 2 suspension and chassis and all that are.

basically i want to know if a gen1 lift kit will fit my gen 2, and if its similar or completely different or what

basically i have access to many gen 1 lift kits here and want to know if it will fit...or fit with minor modifications...

It will all fit except for the rear strut tops. They are the same size and shape but with a different bolt spacing. You can modify the top to fit.

Does he mean lift kit with "Blocks" etc that is for Gen1 Liberty (not suspensions)?

You may want to check the front springs and upper mounts because they may be smaller on 2nd Gen than first Gen .
