Back on line in Canberra

Our move from Darwin to Canberra went well and now settled into our new house in Harrison.

Drove down via Brisbane in the Forester, towing an enclosed 6x4 trailer. Economy wasn't too flash in the NT - but you'd expect that towing a trailer at around 140. Once we got into Qld, sat on their draconic speed limits and economy figures were much better.

It has taken us this long to get broadband hooked up at home. Long story, but basically we were initially told by Telstra that there was no spare line space left in this area to give us cable broadband. Optus couldn't help as Telstra owns all the lines and only share with a few providers. Looked into wireless, satelite and TransACT's system - none of which were suitable. Went back to Telstra and they were able to hook us up this time.

I have been able to view the site from work, however cannot post anything through the defence system. Very frustrating!

Anyway, back on line now.

For local AUSubaru guys, I have a heap of bits and pieces from EA82T that I want to offload, incuding heads, manifolds, AC, alternators etc.

Will post a thread in For Sale section once I put a comprehensive list together, however if anyone is after something in a hurry, post a reply here (so I can see it at work - can't see PMs at work) and I'll see if I can help.

Hope to catch up with some ACT / S-NSW guys in the near future.

Cheers for now,

The foz is my wife's car - I'm lucky to drive it, let alone make any mods to it!

We also got an extended warranty from Subaru (free) when we bought it - now 5 years, unlimited kms. Although this is great if anything ever goes wrong, Subaru are very inflexible as to what mods can be done to a car if you want to retain the warranty. Double edged sword, wouldn't you say?
