Quick note on EA82 economy

Hey all,
As some of you know, i push my car to the limit - not the sort of break the thing limit...
Recently I havn't had the joy of money to fill the tank, not after my last one anyway. I'm now running the EA82 carbie version - from an 84 model leone. With a mix of highway cruising, city driving and doing the run to and from work for a few days (about 10km each way) the fuel needle was sitting rather low on the guage - well below the "E".
I filled her up today - took 63.5 litres (yes, i know, i have a dented 60L tank - i fill to the NOZZLE) and got 670km from that. Not a bad effort. I would like to note that I did not change my driving habbits to get this figure, all i did was chuck a jerry can of fuel in the car incase i ran out, then drove til i could afford another tank and thought i was pretty much empty (also i love opening up the secondaries - its about the only way to really get the L moving at times).
Hope this helps out others with their fuel economy queries - i know each situation is different with car setup/no of k's on the engine etc but this was more of a true test than the one where I drove to adelaide on 61ltrs to 740km with the MPFI (mainly cruising speed)...
Cheers
Bennie
PS it cost me $89 to fill up at 139.9c per litre... crazy (ouch)!
