Show us your rare bits.
I was just thinking about the coupe that I am going to build up and was wondering if I am going to put my dash in it. It is an MY analogue turbo dash. Only one I have ever seen. I suppose they would be quite common OS though. I don't know if I want to put it in or not in case I end up selling the car. I will get some pics of the MY dash at some stage and post them up here.
I also have 3 MY MOMO steering wheel boss kits. One of them with cruise control.
So, going on the thread heading, who has got what that is quite rare in the Subaru world? Got any pics of it?

I obviously have the hatch which has a lot of rare parts in it and in the shed at home i have a factory ea81 dual carby and manifold set up. It's actually the 2nd set i have owned so perhaps there not as rare as i think.

My wagon currently runs a 1999 5spd Outback AWD dual range gearbox with hydraulic clutch actuation.
Not a rare gearbox but I spose its relatively rare to have one divorced from the Outback and chucked in an L series.

yep, spare key and all blue tacked there for who knows how many years, the inside was immaculate, the dash was that caked in dirt and dust that when i removed it was perfect... here's a photo of the original dealer stickerSuparoo wrote:I have 3 MY digidash's, i have no idea how rare they were though.

I have to ask, what's the point of owning a dashboard if it's not in a car??BYB555 wrote: I don't know if I want to put it in or not in case I end up selling the car.

HAHAHA, I know. Stupid isn't it? I should have put it in the turbo ute I built but then I wouldn't have it now. I suppose I have had the coupe for years now and will most likely grow to liking it and wanting to keep it.PeeJay wrote:I have to ask, what's the point of owning a dashboard if it's not in a car??
