Who's got the goss on the cheapest known reversing camera with RCA output and IR?

Looking for something under $30 including postage. Anyone else got one? looking for something with acceptable results, doesn't have to be broadcast quality.

(I picked up a handheld PVR today with 20gb hdd and have a kick arse project in mind for it)

Help!

Nice one Chris!

Dane is the only person here I have ever discussed this project with (January last year) and until now I have been waiting for the price to be right as there is a potential for things involved to never work again....

night vision isn't a problem as I will just be gutting whatever camera I get (well actually I'll be getting the $23 one as I bid on it and doubt anyone will outbid me....) and using the bits inside a housing that actually will be waterproof (not 'waterproof' like advertised on ebay)

If this does work as well as I hope, then I'll be hunting a 7" LCD and a good CCD camera, but until then it's all 'sperimentin'

Further development on the $26 ebay cam....

This is video I shot earlier outside - WHOA CRAPPOLA!!!!

Has some major red shift issues..... Indoors it isn't too bad actually, and considering my application is for lower light levels than straight outdoors then I think it will be fine.

Further information as the project unfolds...
