ebay - someone did well!

Post by sven '2' » Thu Nov 29, 2007 10:10 pm

$350 for a brumby tailgate in fair condition! after 10 bids (item number 50184219711)

A complete brumby in good nick, needing only 'minor' work, complete with targa sunroofs (item number 300171623994) only went for 4.071 times that!

Not having a crack if - well done to the seller - but if that is the demand I might go into the brumby tailgate business!

old saying - fair price is what the buyer pays!!

Going price over here for an OK tail gate for a brumby is $450... my brother needs one but it's hard to want to spend that sorta money on one. If you start a brumby tail gate business then you got me wanting one.

Hey Subarino why doesn't your brother have a flat tray brumby! and with some flimsy fold up sides, no need for a tail gate then :D

Because "Custom" is not his middle name.

Apart from his middle name and the car falling apart... why not :D
haha I meant that in a jocular (new word for my vocab from peter garret hehe) manner. Finding a tail gate is easier eh.

Dave,

reckon I do - thinking about it i remebered i have a tailgate at my mate's place - from my old brumby that i sold 7 years ago.

The ute was T-boned, and the tailgate has the slightest ripple or wave thru it - we replaced it because the insurance assessor approved it. Didn't actually think he would. I did not notice it, light had to be just right. Silver.

(was) rust free - will see if it still about...there you go, I am in brumby tailgate business after all!
