Cool nice repair.
You may want to consider bracing it forwards and backwards to prevent this from happening again....a piece of flat bar angled down on both sides might do the job.

is that a brand new center bearing???
mine is stuffed, what did it cost?

The car was repaired under Insurance so the centre bearing was replaced and it was welded from the inside. The repairer said the centre bearing cost about $400 and I still have the old centre bearing.

$400 !!!!!!!!!!
thats one HUGELY expensive bearing.
there aint much difference between that and others ive replaced which were only around the $100 mark.
but paying some1 usually means around 200..
thats crazy.
maybe its genuine. subaru sure like to charge for some stuff.
sorry i had to post that
