Nope. Depending on the tyre size, you may experience rubbing on the guard at full lock and heavy suspension compression, but otherwise they are fine.

They will stick outside the guard though

its not needed Dylan they will fit an unlifted sports wagon, just run a standard road tyre 185/75/r14's or something similar. you may need to widen the guards though to stick to your states road rules as 14's stick out further than normal 13" sunraysias. hope it helps mate.

No I have 14" wheels with light truck tyres 185x14 26" it very rarely scraps, you really have to do some serious off road-ing.

Depends what state your shocks and general suspension is in.

I had 175's on my ex-country bumpkin of an L, and she used to scrape on the serious brisbane road bumps

Damn right it is

For 14" wheels we basically have 2 options

Speedys Desert Rats are about $90 each, but they are wider than the guards

Or Scorpains for $185 each, and they fit prefectly under the guards.

I want some Scorpians, but i cant justify the price.

The other option is Rx L-series Turbo 14's,fairly hard to get though. They were designed for rally use and were very strong.

How about pugs ? They're supposed to be near unbendable if you can live with their design.

Or go to 6 stud and pick up a set of 14" or 15" from a Courier/Rodeo (5.5" wide). Better on-road handling with 15", and better range of off-road tyres...
