Alloy / bullbar fabricators in Brisbane?

I need a few small mods, and a full polish done on my subaextreme bar.

Basically it just needs a few dents hammered out, some welds ground off and polished and I also want some tow points added.

I went and saw a bloke this morning who came highly recommended but he wouldn't touch the tow points. Quoted me $300 just to grind off the welds, hammer out the dents and polish the thing. He was obviously scared of liability if a tow point fails, but was happy to supply me towing eyes for me to fit myself! yeah that will be a lot safer...

Can anyone recommend a fabricator / bullbar shop that will be willing to put some tow points in this thing for me and wont charge the earth?

I'm on the southside but willing to drive for decent service..

Thanks

Talk to David, the bloke you got your kit off for the welding. Also on Macdonnell road just near where he works now is an alloy polisher. Good prices but you may have to wait a little as they are generally pretty busy.

im not dodging up anything, thats why i want an experienced bullbar place to do it.

I will give Dave a call, good idea Brett. Looks like it will have to wait until after DI now anyway

the newer subaextreme bars have a metal subframe that bolts into the chassis rails and then the alloy bar bolts onto the front.

I either want 2 rated towing eyes mounted through the alloy into the metal subframe, or 2 heavy plates bolted / welded onto the end of the subframe and protruding through the alloy unattached. These could be slotted to give something to shackle to.

I am just gonna leave it until after DI. Will have the bar on (dodgy and unfinished) up the beach so i will hit you guys up for ideas
