that would depens what u mean by army colours
but the trick is to make it look as respectable as possible, as when you get pulled over by transport then we have to swap shells again = not much fun
but i will admit that a camo pain job would be cool

DO IT!!! - That would be great. I rekon you'd need to put some thick black flares over the wheel arches just to break it up.

Do it... just to be different.
'Who wants to paint my car all retarded?' < the title of a thread at
http://pithrecords.com/forum/ where they fella painted his late 80's suby wagon cow skin (white with black spots) look pretty funny... How ever the link to the thread doesn't work
but yea, paint it camo, then when ya play hide and seek in the bush who do ya reckon will always win

Jack, I like your thinking mate, bloody good!
And alex, we all know you wouldn't like a camo car... not enough shiny things on there for you...
I reckon go the camo, we've got an MY wagon up here in benders i see every now and then that's done up in camo. It really looks the part, i think it's mainly been done for advertising for a boot camp or the local disposals joint...
I like the idea of the urban camo, i'd love to see that!
Cheers
Bennie

I had an LJ80 years ago that we pianted in camo colours...took about 2 days and too many beers to paint.
First trip out bush in coffin bay we blew the clutch during a recovery. being outdoorsmen, we packed up supplies (a loaf of bread, some water, and the remaining cold beers) and hiked out of the park, leaving the car at 4am to avoid the heat - took the best part of a day
Trouble was returning the next day with a local to find the car. The local said something like "geez fellas, as if it your truck is camoflauged", we drove past it a number of times!
Still laugh thinking about it.
But...maybe a consideration if truly in the boon docks - spotting a solid colour in the bush is hard enough from a rescue craft...
