have you checked the fuel pump relay?
Its located under the dash (it clicks about once a second when you connect the green test connectors)

The ECU grounds the negaitve side of the relay (the positive side always has power when the ignition is on)

If the relay isnt clicking, then i suspect a burnt out relay coil or maybe fuse 11, or a toasted ecu.

My fuel pump is on its way out( and if that is causing my intermittent miss on #2 there will be some hat eating). I've pulled it down from its bracket, tested it with a battery until a belt from a hammer has got it going. Maybe you could wire in your own power supply to your fuel pump bypass the ecu ? still wondering the power connection between the egr solenoid and fuel pump relay ? a post to be read

oh i'd be careful about that, the ecu stops the fuel pump if the engine stops rotating, i'd say a safety reason in that.

I think peterxturbo needs to check any grounding to the ecu, without proper ground can show strange symptoms.

OK you culd incorporate a tachometric relay or vacuum control for safety sake, and then there is those switches installed on Triumphs that should you roll over and end up the wrong way the switch kills fuel pump
