Subaru #5 has arrived !!

Post by steptoe » Tue Jul 31, 2007 12:01 am

yep, couldn't resist it. Dunno what year yet but it is a 4 door sedan with tacho dash (different to wagot and Brumby too! never knew that) single headlight job. Comes with a spare motor (time I got a boat for all my anchors), auto yuck.Current motor has been reringed 20,000k ago

IT IS JUST FOR SPARES i tell myself and done a deal with the towie - he gets the body for scrap and i get free delivery, so i am not gonna register it just because it passed.

Any little things you reckon i should keep ?

I am going for Brumby spec stuff like petrol door, front door handles (EXT) , motor, starter, alternator, screen, crossmember (to carve out turbo groove) front shafts for EJ conversion one day, front sway bar ditto, fuses, bulbs, relays, switches, grille , lights, centre caps for rims, calipers,

Congrat’s on the new addition… you’ll have to update your sig.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

update it one week, then eliminate it the next ?? maybe.... this car is not staying for long at all as it has pushed the Brumby outside in the cold. 100 psi in all pots, at least it is even and might be a contender for a practice turbo ea81 with such low compression (not saying thats the ratio though) It is a right bit ch to start and a fast stop stalled it and then no electrics at all > dead battery won't hold charge
