ayone has ever installed a bullbar originaly made for another make? there must be somthing out there that does fit an l series. i'm not interested in the ones that mounts with the 2 brackets under the car. they are worthless and more of a pain than anything.
i'm tlking about the type that replaces the front bumper aswell.

Hey Lionel,

best way to find this out is go to a pick a part joint, select your subject L, remove bumper and then go looking at other makes with a bull bar your happy with, pull it off and see if it sits well on the L series taking note of any mods that may need to be done.

Try out tradies cars, they'd be about right for the front of an L i reckon.

Hope it all works out, i'm sure someone's done this before.
