Getting close now

Post by stamp_licker » Wed Jul 18, 2007 6:44 pm

Got my rebuilt ej22 back today just got to finish putting it together and then pull the other motor and fit it.Spent last weekend fitting disc brake rear end ,regreasing bearings, welding the legs for my camp kitchen, fitting new struts and springs.Still got to knock a jerry can carrier ,another roof rack, pull the windscreen and fix rust[the other ones falling out] get a fridge, swap the rear suspension ,run the motor in.There's a few other things to do.Only 16 days to go and looking forward to it:-D .

I should of read all the post before starting a new one.
Will, you and Brett should compare lists. He was up well before the sun welding the other day, and now he is out in the freezing cold re-wiring the car and van. Not much I can do other then sit and watch and drink. ;)

I am not far short of the mark either Wil, still have to make my sleeping arangments working and put a floor in the trailer as well as put some gerri can holders as well. Then finish a conversion for the travelling money and finish off another Lseries.

Good luck on a trip means fitting a new motor just before you head off
