I give up, It's Overblown - or Blown over

Due to forseen circumstances I am not going ahead with the supercharged EJ in the WonderBrumby II.

LegacyTT, I appologise, you were quite right- 4 months ago and I should have taken more notice.

These circumstances involve Sascha and I having a baby very soon, house painting and the fact that I need an ultra reilable set of wheels.

It has been great fun, very different and not cheap but the whole lot is bound for the jet boat so not much will be wasted except time and gaskets.

I am furiously sourcing the required parts to put her together as an EJ20T from a 1999 wrx running with the installed megasquirt ECU.

I don't think I will be too dissapointed power wise, it's just a bit less individual; small price to pay for reliable though.

Thanks have to publicly given to Will, John, Mat in NZ and Matt who have helped so much trying to get this thing going right, sorry we couldn't crack it.

Brace yourselves frame rails.....this may hurt.

Blown EJ

Well done Matt, Glad you have seen the light. Sorry to hear though that your attempt to reinvent the wheel didn't quite work out. Full marks for a thorough effort on it. Congratulations on the pending addition to the family.

Thanks Ian, Sascha and I are getting a bit nervous now (due Sept 27th),
Priorities change very fast sometimes.
Nesting furiously at the moment.

Bit of a bugger about the blower, I did have it going for 14 months on gas but the swap to fuel was a big jump in difficulty.
It will be perfect for Tasmanian summer boating
(two weeks running out of fifty two).
