Power steering rack differences?

Is there a difference between the power steering setup of of Gen 1 and Gen 2 L Series? Thanks.
I wouldn't have a clue.. But im going to go ahead and say no.
AFAIK the only differences are the grill, dash and other little cosmetic differences.
