Has anyone successfully used an ea82t crossmember in a brumby/MY and if so what mods did you do?

was looking under me Brumby last night with same idea as i have a very dirty n/a engine crossmember to look at and thought immediately that the rails are wider so WONT fit, but then what is wrong with using 10mm plate to 'adapt' things.

why fit it? the advantage is not having to butcher a n/a EA81 engine member and strengthen it to fit turbo motor for up pipe clearance issues

I saw something about this on USMB, they were talking about moving tit forward to fix the width difference, and also if a lift kit was fitted just using that to compensate for the extra width

the reason for using it would be to use an ej steering rack and an L series front swaybar as it is hard to fit a brumby swaybar with an awd center diff lock box

ok the sway bar i can understand, but you can fit a liberty rack in a brumby crossmember as far as i know

and yea using the turbo crossmember makes sence but i think for all that work to fit it, it would be easier to mod the brumby one, and its not like they are all that rare

I had my front swaybay reshaped to fit around that gearbox but I don't have that 'box in my Brumby anymore. And I gave up on swaybars years ago.
