EA82T overboost controller ??
have read these have an overboost controller mounted somewhere near drivers shock tower.
not sure what it looks like, where it is , what connects to it or how it controls
did all 3 plug and 4 plug ECU L Turbos have these overboost controllers??
I have a 3 plug flapper style.
i do have a pair of what look like vacuum switches bracketed onto front of RHS shock tower each with two wires connected ??

Yeah on flapper maf (85-86) turbos, there are 2 boost switches, one for the boost light, the other for the ECU.
But hotwire maf (87-94 models) only had one boost switch, for the boost light.
The some hotwire models also had a WGDS mounted on the drivers side strut tower, (wastegate duty sloenoid) connected between the turbo and the wastegate. I cant find a detailed description of what exactly it does, but i have read somewhere that it is a altitude compensator, upps the boost at lower atmospheric air density, or something like that. When i get mine going, i will do some testing to find out exactly
