Bit of luck for the day! (for once)

Was a bit bored today so I decided to stop past pick a part and see what bits I could add to my useless collection when I strolled past a l series dl single range wagon.. my 1st reaction was to pop the bonnet and check it the 2 vacuum solenoids were still there! And to my surprise they were! So I quickly whipped them off and grabbed all the hoses also!
Went to pay and was told the grand total would be $5!!!!!! So I played the lady and ran for the hills!

Good stuff Brendan - A local mob here wanted $35 for the solenoids alone.

They sit on the passenger side strut top and are found on the single range 4x4 dl l series or also on the ftawd rx’s that had the centre diff lock. Basically they are used to actuate the vacuum operated linkage on the gearbox that engages the center diff lock (on ftawd box’s) or the 4x4 (on the single range gearboxes) ill post up some pictures later on of it if you like..

Great Therapy isn't it looking through car wrecks especially Subarus, I do that at the local Pick'n' Payless when I'm feeling a bit down, it's like gardening to a gardener.
