fuel filter

just a quick one...
has anyone else come across an insane price for an ea82t fuel filter?
the ryco 247 (i think) is priced at $50! and i rang subaru spare parts too hoping it would be a little different but no- same price.
or is there another type that u use? else ill have to get this one.

Auto-1 sell one, its ~$35 non trade, Auto-1 brand but it is actually made by a reputable manufacturer, can`t remeber who off the top of my head.... but they do make the filters for our 1/2 mil earthmoving equipment.

use a vl commodore one. Ryco z168. Cheaper!

Use a VF8 From superchump It's about $14..

I got one from Auto-1 before, but the tubes lines were not an exact match for the original, so a longer hose was needed, add just a few more dollars here.
I used the MPFI one in the catalogue, nothing specified for turbo, but would be the same.

I'd definitely do whats already been said and use a generic filter.
Z168 and Z200 are common and cheap filters.
